Yeah! today is the first day of snow. I had the boys doing school as usual til we lost power. After that the excitement was too much so I sent them out to shovel and release some energy. (My friend told me that she always gives the first day of snow off of school. I think that is a good idea.) The electricity was out for about two hours and just when I was contemplating taking the kids to Santiago's for lunch it came back on.
Looks like Cody found a dry spot to sit. He did seem to like the snow.

Keep it in Colorado!! I have no desire for snow until much closer to Christmas!!
we usually get our first snowfall in mid October. Then it quickly goes away and is nice and sunny again.
ummm...yeah I agree!! CO can keep it :) lol
I like your idea though of no school on the first snow day...I'm sure my boys will LOVE that one!
